Celeste: Your AI Analyst is Live

This is the one we’ve been building toward. Celeste is Go Fig’s built-in AI analyst — she understands your data, answers questions in plain English, and can build entire dashboards from a single prompt.

What Celeste can do:

  • Generate dashboards — Describe what you want to see and Celeste designs the layout, picks the charts, and wires up the data automatically
  • Answer follow-up questions — Ask a question on any dashboard and Celeste responds in context, using the data already in view
  • Show her work — Each response includes step labels so you can see exactly what Celeste looked at and how she arrived at the answer
  • Use @mentions for precision — Type @ to reference a specific table or column and give Celeste exactly the context she needs
  • Stream responses in real time — Answers appear as Celeste builds them, so you’re never staring at a spinner

Celeste learns the shape of your data over time, so the more you use it, the more accurate and relevant her answers become.

AI Summaries on Every Dashboard

Alongside Celeste, we’ve added AI-generated summaries directly to your dashboards. Every board now has a summary widget that reads across all your charts and surfaces the headline takeaways.

What’s included:

  • Auto-generated on load — Celeste reads your dashboard data and writes a plain-English summary every time you open it
  • Model switching — Choose which AI model powers your summaries depending on the depth of analysis you need
  • Stays current — Summaries regenerate when you switch models or your data refreshes

No more manually writing dashboard descriptions. Celeste handles it.

UI Overhaul

February also brought a significant visual refresh across the app. The changes are designed to reduce noise and keep your focus on the data.

What’s improved:

  • Cleaner layouts — Tighter spacing, updated typography, and a more consistent visual hierarchy throughout
  • Celeste sidebar — The AI panel has a dedicated, resizable sidebar that stays out of the way until you need it
  • Dismissible notifications — In-app alerts can now be dismissed once you’ve read them
  • Mobile onboarding — Improved styles for first-time setup on smaller screens

Email Redesign

Automated report emails got a full redesign this month. They’re cleaner, more scannable, and better at communicating what changed since the last send.

What’s new:

  • Refreshed templates — Updated layout and typography that matches the app’s new look
  • Credit alerts — FigBot now sends an alert when your AI credit balance is running low, so you’re never caught off guard

Soft Delete for Projects, Boards, and Flows

Accidental deletions are now recoverable. When you delete a project, board, or flow, it’s soft-deleted — meaning it can be restored if you change your mind.

This is a behind-the-scenes reliability improvement, but it means your work is safer than ever.

Performance & Reliability

We shipped several under-the-hood improvements this month:

  • Faster large-table queries — DuckDB lazy eviction keeps frequently accessed data warm and reduces query latency
  • Fixed OOM crashes — Large-table dedup operations no longer run out of memory on high-row-count syncs
  • Stale view detection — Improved logic to catch and rebuild stale database views before they cause query failures
